Hello
I'm not a regular on the forums so just bear with me please.
I'm writing some fan fiction based on Eve, mainly for my own enjoyment over anything else.
Basically I'm wondering if Amarrians have harems. If so what sort of level of soceity would these be found in (ie: middle class upwards or just the ruling caste)?
I appericate an advice you can give me.
Thanks
Azia
PS: my speeling will be better in the final thing, promise

Thanks for the pointer solar.
baldour, that was my logic too
fendor, its about the end of an empire. more than that i couldn't possibly say ;P
the basic vibe i'm getting, is that they exist but are sort of frowned upon. I find it interesting that no Amarrians have commented yet...

Originally by: Delath In fact it says in the Amarr timeline (a picture under race-section so I can't quote :P) that their ancestors are a group within the "Unified Catholic Church". Since that was like millenia ago in the timeline it shouldn't count for much more then what cavemen had for religion to you or me I guess but there you have it.
your right, in 3805AD. its on the timeline page. then in 8000AD their religon is changed (the coming of a prophet changes ANY religon).
Was the Unified Catholic Church still ruled by the Vatican? i can't see since the collapse of the Eve Gate how that would work.

Originally by: Delath I don't think they were but it indicates if you want the general feel for their religion and society you should start with catholicism and the type of countries they produce. Perhaps combined with the Roman Empire. Then add more austerity, even rigider social structure, ubermenschmentality, and millenia worth of general craziness. Voilß - Amarr.
i found this on harems.
Quote: harÀem Audio pronunciation of "harem" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (hÔr′əm, hăr′-) n. 1. A house or a section of a house reserved for women members of a Muslim household. 2. The wives, concubines, female relatives, and servants occupying such a place. 3. A group of women sexual partners for one man.
[Turkish, from Arabic arīm , forbidden place, from arama , to prohibit. See rm in Semitic Roots.]

Disco, you mean YOU don't have a harem
information on amarr rituals appears to be VERY thin on the ground.
I've written 5 pages and killed off 3 people already . I might release it in small chunks, a chapter a week maybe.
i think i will write harems in for the time being until there is enough evidence to disprove their existance.
